Greenwich, Connecticut
This project consisted of the renovation and addition to an existing masonry house, as well as a new pool. The structure was originally used as a gatehouse to a main house (no longer existing). The 5,551 square foot addition includes a new kitchen/ living room, media room, mud room and butler’s pantry, on the ground floor with a new glass link that connects the existing house to the new. On the second floor is the master suite and terrace, along with two guest bedrooms and a laundry room. The house was designed with proportions based on Tuscan villas, and the interiors combine the owner’s desire to have the amenities of modern living with a refined, classic aesthetic.
