Murdock Solon Architects proposed a design concept for an international advertising agency. With collaboration as a priority for the agency, the concept focused on group meeting spaces. The collaborative spaces included the "playground, plaza, and piazza." The plan defines new circulation paths that lead directly to these collaborative work spaces. Staggering ‘blocks’ of support programs create space for open offices, which also shorten the path taken to reach the collaborative spaces (efficient circulation ratio). It also included 15 enclosed offices on the East and West sides and private offices on the South and North end to maximize natural light. The design included a limited color palette to promote an open, airy feel. Different user groups would be defined through different unique architectural finishes with different textures, etc. within the new palette.
