Modern Luxury Awards MSA Best Living Room

We’re thrilled to announce that Murdock Solon Architects has been awarded Best Living Room 2025 by Modern Luxury in their Design 9 Awards. The award recognizes our transformation of an Upper West Side residence into a space where heritage and modernity beautifully coexist.

At the heart of the project, we honored the building’s 1912 roots while introducing streamlined millwork, custom wallpaper inspired by global travels, and refined lighting, all curated to reflect our clients’ art-filled lifestyle and the architectural integrity of the property. More than a renovation, this project was an invitation to re-think how living spaces engage with art, context, and client personality.
