Michael joined Murdock Solon Architects in the Fall of 2011 as a project architect overseeing a team of designers working in several residential and commercial projects
Originally from Panama, Michael came to The United States to pursue his studies at the University of Florida where he obtained his Bachelor of Design in Architecture in 2002 and his Masters of Architecture degree from the University of Virginia in 2009
Before joining MSA, he was recruited by Asymptote for a year to work on a retail project in the Meatpacking District of New York City. He was then hired at Archetype Design Studio where he gained substantial experience for six years
He has lead designs for a beach home in Montauk, NY, an addition and renovation to a 4-story townhouse in the historic district of Fort Greene Brooklyn, a two-story contemporary gallery with sculpture gardens in West Chelsea, NY, a sound and video editing headquarters office, a ground-up house in Greenwich, CT, and two private roof terraces in Manhattan and D.C.
Michael is a registered architect in the state of New York.
